Who We Are. . .
Serving the communities of Morgantown, Westover, Granville, Cheat Lake, Suncrest, Bruceton Mills, Point Marion and more!
At Animal Medical Center, we understand that in order to provide your pets with the medical care they need, we must not only provide excellent medical services and have the most capable staff possible, but we also must take the time and care to provide the owners who bring us their pets with thoughtful and respectful client service.
Our entire team is dedicated to practicing excellent medicine and is the most important element of our ability to provide top notch veterinary care. We are each committed to our mission to provide you and your pets with excellent, compassionate, modern medical care and thoughtful and respectful service.
Our veterinarians have extensive experience and advanced medical skills and they know how to ask the right questions and listen to your answers. We also refer to professional animal behaviorists to help with difficult behavior problems.
Our client service specialists and veterinary nurses are your link to the doctors and are a vital part of the veterinary team. They each serve important roles in providing you and your pet with excellent care and service. Our animal care attendants are selected for their commitment to providing tender care to our patients, for excellent attitude and an aptitude for learning. They are trained carefully and often prove so capable that, after further training, they eventually are promoted into nursing.
Animal Medical Center takes pride in our excellent staff and we are committed to providing them with the training, support and tools they need to perform their responsibilities with excellence. We are also committed to compensating staff fairly and providing them with a pleasant and safe workplace where they can pursue a career, not just a job, in veterinary medicine.
Our staff is continually educated and trained on both medical issues and client service topics. All staff members are eligible to receive paid ongoing continuing professional education including frequent all-staff training meetings. Our Thursday training meetings are why we sometimes have to put the phones on voicemail for a couple hours or so during Thursday afternoons. (Of course, even then, we always respond to emergencies promptly!)
Our experienced, trained and dedicated staff will go out of their way to make sure you are well-informed and satisfied and that your pet receives the medical care he or she needs.
