The AMC Puppy Plan bundles all essential veterinary care your puppy needs in their first months—saving you money while ensuring their best start. Pay upfront or in installments based on your puppy’s age at their first visit.
How It Works

✔️ Bring your puppy in every three weeks through the wellness series. Ending at 18 to 20 weeks of age.
✔️ Spay or neuter surgery and the recheck visit (if needed) are included. Schedule at about 6 months of age.

Your plan is based on your puppy's age at their first visit. Pay in full or spread the cost across your puppy's visits.
What's Covered
✔️ Wellness Exams (one at each scheduled visit — 2 to 5 exams)
✔️ Fecal Exams (at least two, more if needed)
✔️ Deworming (each visit + as recommended)
✔️ DAPP Vaccine (boosters at each visit)
✔️ Leptospirosis Vaccine (two doses)
✔️ Rabies Vaccine (one dose)
✔️ Spay/Neuter Surgery (Scheduled at about 6 months, including pain management, IV catheter, and IV fluids.)
✔️ Post-Surgery Recheck (if needed)
Not Included: Flea/heartworm preventatives, non-core vaccines, sick visits, bloodwork, microchipping, e-collars, or other non-wellness care.

Puppy Plans cost less than paying separately — typically saving $100 to $300, and often more depending on the care your puppy needs. One price, paid up front or in installments, makes budgeting easier.
Plus, Puppy Plan graduates enroll in Free Vaccines for Life at a reduced graduate rate, so the savings continue for life.

Important Details
✔️ Puppies must enroll in the plan matching their age at the first visit.
✔️ Spay or neuter surgery is included at about 6 months of age. If your AMC veterinarian recommends delaying alter surgery, then the delayed surgery will still be included. Not-medically-recommended delays will incur additional fees. Surgical complications incur additional fees.
✔️ If a plan isn't completed, prior visits are recalculated at standard fees and any excess is refunded.
✔️ Missing or rescheduling appointments more than 4 weeks past the last vaccine may change the price and number of visits.
✔️ Enrollment pricing shown is current and subject to change.
Puppy Vaccines
✔️ DAPP – Given every 3 weeks until at least 18 weeks old
✔️ Leptospirosis – Two doses at the last two puppy visits.
✔️ Rabies – One dose at 12+ weeks
✔️ Bordetella, Lyme & Other Non-Core Vaccines – Based on risk assessment
Puppy Health Essentials - Beyond Vaccines
✔️ Avoid Public Spaces – Until vaccinations are complete (18–20 weeks) to prevent diseases like parvovirus.
✔️ Deworming is Critical – Puppies are born with parasites and need regular deworming through their first months.
✔️ Flea, Tick & Heartworm Prevention – Start monthly preventatives at 8 weeks to protect against deadly diseases. We'll send you home with free starter doses when available, and help you choose the right product going forward.
✔️ Spay/Neuter – Helps prevent health and behavioral issues and increases life expectancy. Usually scheduled at about 6 months of age. Large male dogs, and occasionally other dogs, too, may benefit from delayed alter surgery until about one year old.
✔️ Microchipping & ID Tags – Permanent ID reunites lost dogs with their families, and any dog can slip out. Some pets arrive already chipped by a breeder or rescue; for the rest, we usually microchip during spay or neuter surgery for an additional fee, and will offer it when you schedule.
