Intestinal Parasite Control

Intestinal parasites like hookworms, roundworms, whipworms, tapeworms, and coccidia can cause serious illness in pets and even spread to humans. Puppies and kittens are especially vulnerable, often acquiring infections from their mother before birth. We provide comprehensive parasite screening, treatment, and prevention to protect both pets and families. Adult pets also require routine parasite control, as they can pick up new infections from the environment, prey animals, soil, and fleas.

Fecal Exams & Deworming

Because parasites aren’t always visible, annual fecal exams help detect infections early. A “negative” result doesn’t always mean your pet is parasite-free, so routine deworming is still essential. If parasites are found, we customize treatment to target the specific infection.

For year-round protection, we recommend monthly deworming, typically through a heartworm preventative that also controls common intestinal parasites—a simple step to keep your pet healthy and parasite-free.
