Same Day Sick Visits

At Animal Medical Center, we do everything we can to see our patients when they are ill.

To ensure prompt care, we reserve most of our same-day appointments for urgent cases. As long as a veterinarian is available in the hospital, we will find a way to take care of our established patients.

With the recent addition of our third veterinarian, Dr. Amy Thibodaux (we love her!), we now nearly always have same-day availability for sick patients — even for new clients!

There are rare occasions when no veterinarian is available—for example, if the only doctor on duty is in the middle of a long surgery or has a personal emergency. In such cases, we will do our best to help you find the care your pet needs.

If your pet is feeling unwell, please call us as soon as possible so we can arrange the best care.
